Vibrant, Chromatic colors are possible when using grout from Grout360. The material you will receive already has the color added and you add is water.
Test for Staining, Very important: GROUT360 uses very strong pigments to achieve some colors, and these pigments may stain your tile. Some tiling materials have a tendency to absorb the pigment color from the grout. White tiles with matte surfaces or unglazed porcelain finishes are the ones we see that have the most staining issues. It is recommended that you seal porous and sometimes non-porous tile with a grout release/pre-sealer prior to applying the grout. Microscopic surface cracks and crazing in the tile may allow the grout color to stain the tile. Testing a small area prior to use will determine if you need to pre-seal your tiles. If your tile does stain after testing, send us an email asking about the return options. Some stains can be removed by using a cleaning product called Goo Gone.

Sanded grout can be used in grout joints from 1/16” to 1/2”. It is enhanced with Polymer to create Hard, Long-lasting, Professional results. Sanded Grout is used for any size grout lines 1/16″ and wider. Sanded grout has fine sand added to it. This prevents the grout from shrinking too much as it cures. That’s why it is used for larger grout lines and should be used for the majority of tile installations.
If you have a polished stone such as granite, marble, limestone, and travertine, you should be careful about using sanded grout. While sanded may be the correct choice for the size of grout lines, it may not be the best choice. Depending upon the polish of the stone the sand in the grout may actually scratch it. If you decide to use sanded make sure you test it in an inconspicuous area first to ensure it will not scratch your finish. Seal the grout with several coats of a high quality grout sealer following the instructions on the container.
Color variations can occur in any white Portland cement product. Slight color differences are normal.
